1000 stars Women of Montreal Dear Family and Friends:
Six months after receiving the Peace Medal from the YMCA of the Greater Montreal, my daughter Nadia Van Leeuwen and I sat humble with the with the stars 1000 Women of Montreal to be photographed by SAS. This recognition was made for their contribution to their communities. My daughter and I climb Mount Kilimanjaro for the 20 million children infected and affected with HIV and AIDS in Africa. Every week we collect food, clothing and education material for the poor in NDG. In September Crystal Hooper, Anna Ginter, and I will walk through the jungle for AIDS, while Wendy Kunin, Joseph Temper , Aimable Husseim and Tamara scale Mount Kilimajaro and Jane Jordan , Dr. Loemba Tamara Davy, volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital in Kilimanjaro.
I humble ask you to sponsor me on this mission. It cost me $3,500 for the journey and I have to raise $2000 to build a Diagnostic and Training Centre in Moshi Kilimanjaro. Please help me!!!!!!
In 2004, we discovered that hospitals had no means of testing blood in order to determine whether their patients had HIV/ Aids or not in the community. The community was forced to take blood to Germany to be tested; Therefore Zerf Productions will develop a Diagnostic and training centre in Kilimanjaro. The centre will speed up treatment immeasurable and hopefully safe many lives.
The children in Africa do not have this privilege to be tested and treated in Africa. They deserve to be respected and support without discrimination, they deserve to be treated and educated regardless of their status in their own communities.
We would appreciate your support in this humanitarian mission of Zerf Productions; together we can build the diagnostic and training centre and make saving a child's life a reality.
