Mount Kilimanjaro – The roof of Africa!

The challenge of a lifetime awaits.

This breathtakingly beautiful snow-capped mountain is actually an extinct volcano and the trek to the summit is a tough but endlessly rewarding achievement. Kilimanjaro is one of the highest mountains in the world that can be climbed without climbing equipment and one of the Seven Summits.

Kilimanjaro Expedition  for Charity  in pairs the adventure of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania with the charitable purpose of helping children affected and infected with  HIV/AIDS, offering participants a life-impacting experience
Each year, Zerf organizes teams with 4 to 14 members of Zerfchallenge2020 Team the expedition company which partners with Keys hotel on this adventure, leads the climbers on a seven day adventure to the “Roof of Africa.” Hikers experience a journey that takes them through five climate zones and up to an elevation of 19,341 feet. The experience is life-changing, the views are breath-taking, and the memories are priceless.
Each climber raises $2,000 with approximately $2,500 going directly to Zerf Challenge program programs. With medicine costing roughly $1 per day for one child and a full-grown laying hen costing $10, each climber makes a huge impact providing medical,  and water sustainable and lasting changes to a child affected and/or infected by AIDS.
Climb Up: Kilimanjaro fulfills its dual purpose – adventure for the climber and life for the children! Check out the list of current teams and register for a climb.

Our 7-day Machame Route offers time for acclimatisation resulting in an extremely high level of summit-success. This trip is run in association with the Kilimanjaro Porters Assistance Project (KPAP) which means we work with local teams dedicated to providing the best conditions for porters on Mt Kilimanjaro.
A once in a lifetime experience and an achievement you will never forget!
